Hey everyone. I'm having trouble finding how to install liveries on the PMDG 737-700. I just bought it from MSFS Store. I can't download operations center and files don't seem to fit into community folder either. Please help. Many thanks in advance

after buying and installing the PMDG Cloudmaster which is currently on sale in the Marketpace I have already read a few of the handbook manuals and noticed that the PMDG Center is not installed (nor in any of my install folders or C maindrive user folders as mentioned in the handbook.)

How To Install Pmdg 737 Ngx Liveries

How can I install all these beautyful official PMDG liveries without the PMDG Operations Center?

Can it be downloaded and installed even if the plane was bought from the ingame store and not direct from PMDG?

I have to check how installing liveries works with OneStore airplanes, community folder or OneStore folder just like the Carenado Mooney. But it looks great!

Maybe there is a livery that comes with a different or interesting modified cockpit too like the Cessna Citation CJ4.

I downloaded British Airways, Air Canada, United, Aer Lingus and City Bird liveries. When I launch the file, from the completed download , the Install Shield Wizard screen appears with the message, "This program lets you modify the current installation. Click one of the options" Modify. Repair. Remove. I have tried selecting "Modify" to install the livery, but without success. I have tried selecting "Repair", again without success.

If I select a download which I have never had before, for example, Japan Airlines, then a different Install Shield Wizard appears, and the installation of the new livery proceeds with no difficulty, and appears, ready to be selected for flight in FSX.

No I didn't save and copy them from the previous installation, and over the recent uninstallation of PMDG MD11 they have been deleted. I don't understand why the textures are there, but I can't see the liveries on FSX.

Ok this sounds like a windows permission issue. Have you installed FSX in the default "program files" folder ? If so, In your windows settings turn off UAC and then try running the livery installer again....this time don't double click, but right click and select "run as administrator".

Re-installing FSX outside of program files is a good idea in my opinion (although you will find those who disagree). Make sure after you run the uninstaller, you manually delete any left-over folders/files. I also reccomend you run a registry cleaner afterwards to ensure any wayward entries are cleaned (CCleaner is a good one). Finally , re-install with your AV turned off.

I thought PMDG changed the livery installers which are configured to run with the new Operations Center. You can check if there are any aircraft updates and change or remove liveries etc. with the OPS CTR.

In my many, many years owning PMDG products I've always only installed their liveries. I'm now trying to install a livery not available through them. I know how to install liveries (texture.xxx) files but have never encountered .ptp files. I've searched throughout the forums and through Google to find the basic instructions (you would think that should be something easy to fine).

- I have had to uninstall and reinstall 737 PMDG from FS-X sometimes and I've succesfully installed some liveries before uninstalling it, but after installing it again, when I try to reinstall all the liveries I want, appears a small window saying that:

What happened is you didn't follow the uninstall-reinstall steps as outlined at support.precisionmanuals.com (one of the many reasons I tell people not to uninstall-reinstall unless absolutely necessary). Because of this, folders were left behind from the prior install and you did not delete them. The program sees the folders still there and is assuming it shouldn't write over them.

I am unable to import .ptp liveries for the NGXu. After running the pop-up error message says "ptp installation is complete. 0 liveries installed. 1 liveries failed to install". I am trying to import from an exterior .ptp file from INI Builds. Any solutions?

Ok, tried to copy/paste your link and it still did not work. I have attached two files....came up with this error message...."1 file was larger than the maximum file size of 7.81MB, and was skipped..." trying to get some PMDG 737NGXu liveries on my plane....please advise

Here's another log file after running the PMDG Ops center as administrator. These liveries just don't work. Can you please send me a clean Southwest Airlines liveries with no bugs that will upload and work with the PMDG NGXu 737-70 and -800?

Is it a .ptp file you have downloaded? If so, open up PMDG Operations Centre. Then click "Aircraft and Liveries" at the top. Then choose "Liveries Utilities". Then just make sure your sim is on MSFS and you have chosen the correct installed product (DC6). Then you should see an "Install from PTP File" and you just need to choose the file.

You will need to extract the zip to see what you have. PMDG liveries are normally done via .ptp file. The ones that are on flightsim.to at the moment (3 of them) are all PTP files once you have extracted them.

Finally a nice and simple way to install liveries. If a livery is not .ptp I wouldn't be interested in it. Having to drill down into folders, copy and pasting stuff, etc. to get a livery ready for us is a crazy process.

I had the 737 NGX and it's expansion pack installed to P3D v3. I ran the OPS Center updater. Then I downloaded the latest 737-800/900 NGX installer. I ran it and chose to install it into P3D v4. I then tried to install a livery using the OPS Center, but got an error message that "the livery is for the PMDG 737-800 NGX but that variant is not installed!" Then I re-ran the latest installer and selected to install into P3D v3. I thought perhaps that would fix the issue, but it did not. Using the previous version of the 737 NGX, this .ptp file and various other .ptp file liveries installed just fine.

I have recently bought the PMDG 737 for P3D directly from the PMDG website and in the operations center the livery manager, along with other options, are completely missing from the menu. Yet there is red text and lack of "Buy Now" button which clearly indicates that the 737 was detected, but somehow can't recognize the livery manager and other options. I have P3D installed on C:\Prepar3d v3, and I moved it from the original location as C:\Program Files (x86)\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3d v3. The PMDG Operations Center is located at C:\Program Files (x86)\PMDG Operations Center. I'm running Win 10 64 bit.

I already sent a ticket, but so far there has been responses about Estonia Migration Tool, which I don't have, and also I ran the PMDG registry mechanic, which did not solve the problem. Otherwise the aircraft works perfectly, and I could transfer the unpacked liveries from my old PMDG FSX installation from my other computer, but I just cannot install liveries just because of this problem.

I have enjoyed PMDG since the beginning and have never had any issues until now. I recently did some hardware upgrades and decided to re-install a clean FSX to include PMDG's products. Only problem is that the livery installer is not installing liveries. So let me explain in excruciating detail what I am doing so maybe someone can tell me what I'm doing wrong. This make so little sense to me that it must be a simple mistake.

OC keeps track of things in your user\appdata\roaming\pmdg folders. Quite possible that the info there is out of sync with the aircraft.cfg file, just guessing but if you removed all FSX and reinstalled then try the same with OC files. Good luck.

Alsohad this problem after loading new liveries. Then i found a little checkbox in the FSX choose aircraft page that said something like "show all variations". When I clicked on that check box, all of the differentliveries showed up.

2. Because aircraft configurations don't always save properly, I've created a "Southwest Airlines 737NG Configurations" document to assist in setting up SWA liveries to correctly mimic their real-world counterparts. Verified by Southwest 737 pilots as well as other 737 pilots. It is included in the download, and you can also view it via this link: SWA 737NG Configurations be457b7860
