16-18 November 2026, Buenos Aires
FoCo Physics 2026 - Fostering Collaborations in Physics: France–Argentina CNRS (inter-)IRP Workshop
is the first conference organized by all the Franco-Argentine International Research Projects (IRPs) in physics together.
The IRPs involved are:
COQSYS: Complex and quantum systems
PhenomeNaS: Emerging Phenomena at the NanoScale
MAGITEX: MAGnetIc TEXtures: Control, Dynamics & Interferences
EXCELSIOR II: Exotic electronic states in correlated and functional materials - II
The workshop brings together all the members of these IRPs and gives them the opportunity to meet and exchange around their research fields (materials physics and chemistry, condensed matter, theoretical physics and AMO physics) with all French and Argentine researchers who work in these fields and eventually are part of other collaboration research projects (IRN, IRL, ecosud, etc..).
The goal is to strengthen current franco-argentinian collaborations in physics and build those of the future.
Organizers: Patrizia Vignolo, Massimiliano Marangolo (FR), Laura Steren, Pablo Capuzzi (ARG)
Co-organizers : Daniel Kimura-Lanzilloti, Vincent Jeudy (FR)
