Welcome!
We are excited to be part of the Panda family! We have the privilege of working with students through whole group instruction, small group counseling/lunch bunch, and in individual settings. We also have the opportunity to work with staff, families, and the community to make sure that our students and families are supported.
Jessica Hutchens
Education:
I earned a B.S. degree in Elementary Education at Longwood University and had the opportunity to teach in an elementary setting. I furthered my education with a M.Ed. in School Counseling at Liberty University.
Family:
I am so blessed to have two wonderful kiddos and a supporting husband. In our free time we enjoy the beach, hiking, swimming, and fishing.
Favorite things:
Cream with a little coffee, anything chocolate, crafting with clay, painting, gardening.
AK Scruggs
Education:
I earned a B.S. degree in Human Services at Old Dominion University. I am continuing my education with a M.Ed. in School Counseling at Liberty University and will graduate in May 2024.
Family:
I started working in the education field in 2019 after I returned back to PC from working at Walt Disney World. Last school year (22-23) I was the Early Childhood Special Education teacher at Patrick Springs. I am also the assistant Varsity Volleyball coach at PCHS.
Favorite things:
Dr. Pepper, chocolate milk, spending time with my family, going on adventures, music and pizza.
