Hello! My name is Mr. Scott.

Meet Mr. Scott! 

Hello! My name is Mr. Scott, and I am excited to be your child’s music teacher! Originally from North Carolina, I moved to Greer, South Carolina, over a decade ago. I earned my degree in Music Education from North Greenville University and my Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University.

Music has been a huge part of my life for many years. I played French horn for fourteen years and now enjoy playing guitar, piano, and singing.

Outside of school, I enjoy cooking, baking, and spending time with my family and two dogs. I am one of six siblings, so I grew up in a pretty busy household!

My goal as a music teacher is to create a fun and welcoming classroom where every student feels confident exploring music, trying new things, and discovering the musician within themselves. And, of course, you’ll see plenty of sloths along the way!
