Its impossible to know anyone through mere words and images but they can help spark memories and hold contributions, creations and achievements to remember and  honor once someone dies.  

For those of you reading this that knew Patrick, it will hold silences, missing most of what you knew but it may hold new things to know and hopefully other ways to engage with him, even though he is no longer physically with us.  

For those of you who never met Patrick, I hope it offers a glimpse of a person you wished you had known but also ways to know him through the ideas and interests he shared through his writing.
