Model United Nations (MUN) is an extracurricular program that provides students the ability to attend conferences and act as diplomats from countries all over the world. Students research and debate on real world issues, stretching from militarization of space to deforestation to women's reproductive rights. Model UN is a fantastic opportunity for students to develop research, writing, and public speaking skills, travel to new cities to attend conferences, and learn about the work of the real United Nations.

San Diego Regional Junior Model United Nations (SDRJMUN) is a district wide program for sixth to ninth graders. As a freshman, you will have the majority of the school year to write position papers, resolutions, and research for your nation in order to prepare for the conference in May. As an upperclassmen, you have the opportunity to staff as apart of the Secretariat and gain volunteer hours.

The Patrick Henry Model United Nations Club ("PHHS MUN Club") is the club at Patrick Henry that provides membership to PHHS students, and allows them to: Learn more about JMUN/MUN programs, attend JMUN/MUN conferences, and much more throughout the scholar year!

Henry Model United Nations ("HenryMUN", "HMUN"), is Patrick Henry High's first ever, student run and operated Model UN conference hosted at Patrick Henry in the Spring. Because the conference is student-hosted, Patrick Henry students, particularly those involved in the PHHS MUN Club, get the opportunity to get involved and help staff the conference. HenryMUN is an affiliated extension branch of the PHHS MUN Club, although all club and conference matters are kept separate under two different strucutres.
