The Nationalist Park is a short, mixed media animated film following a park ranger through their day in a dying park. Opening with a time lapse of a salmon river where bears eat, watching a plant grow thanks to the Ranger.
Following the funding cuts, the Ranger is upset by the changes in the park and decay he sees in it, making people leave instead of welcoming them. After finding a family illegally camping, the Ranger tries to get them to leave to no avail and a bear jumps out, attacking the child of the family, resulting in a death.
The mixed media aspect of Ranger Ride Along has the characters animated in 2D, having an additional paper cut out effect around them. The environments and objects around them are animated in 3D.
The purpose of this short film is to highlight the importance of park rangers and all of the jobs that they do withouth everyone being fully aware of just how important they are for the parks health and park goers safety.

A smalltown mortician works the nightshift in a morgue opposite a hospital. A strange body is brought in with an hour deadline and she begins her methodical work, however while working, she finds small bottles with letters addressed to her, describing what she’s doing as she does them. While finishing up, a figure flashes in the window revealing a book, the mortician goes to read it as the body is wheeled away. The book reveals the body was behind the bottles, having been a terminal patient, he watched her from his hospital room to learn her methodical way of working.
The mortician is a methodical worker who takes her job seriously and values it above all else. She works methodically and meticulously as she has OCD, displayed through her precise work, obsession with doing things in a certain order and cleanliness. She is always prepared for anything the police will hand to her to work with and is reserved, not speaking once throughout the film. She stands upright with her head straight, showing her confidence in her work. Throughout the film she begins to get worried, her usually methodical ways being called out and her safe place becoming scary, her hair will become a bit dishevelled, her eyes will grow darker with her glasses starting to slip.
