A kids’ clothing startup from Nizhny Novgorod asked me to create a brand identity for “Gorky for Kids” — a playful mix of history and irony, since the city was once renamed after writer Maxim Gorky. The founders wanted a logo combining Gorky’s portrait with Einstein’s iconic tongue-out pose. I hand-drew the illustration, refined it in vector, chose a bright child-friendly palette, customized the typography, added doodle elements, and built a mini brand book. A mix of humor, culture, and design — made for kids, inspired by classics.
