Christian funeral rituals often include a short funeral service with scripture readings, hymns, prayers, and a sermon, followed by either burial or cremation. Key elements include an opening prayer, a eulogy from family members(s), and a committal service, which may involve symbolic rituals. Typically, a Christian funeral will last less than an hour.  Graveside services are usually 10-20 minutes.
