The purpose of the Pennsylvania Fair Queen Program is twofold: (1) to promote the education of young women in Pennsylvania through the operation of a scholarship program providing educational opportunities for selected applicants; and (2) to promote greater public understanding and awareness of agriculture and its importance to Pennsylvania.

Fairs that are a member in good standing of the Pennsylvania State Association of County Fairs are eligible to conduct a preliminary fair queen contest for the purpose of sending a contestant to the PA Fair Queen State Competition.

The PSACF/PSSA Convention is the primary fundraising opportunity for the PA Fair Queen Program. Support of our Basket Raffle table, Live Auction, and 50/50 Raffle is a great opportunity to invest in the next generation of PA's finest young women leaders. We encourage fairs, businesses and individuals to get involved in our fundraising efforts. Deadline for making a commitment to donate or volunteer is November 30.
