My name is Mustafa Hussain and I am a licensed facilitator in Oregon. After voters approved Measure 109, which legalized psilocybin facilitation for people 21 and over in Oregon, I took the opportunity to build a career which I previously did not imagine was possible.
I am well-prepared to serve queer clients and clients of color, as my volunteering has involved crisis counseling for LGBTQIA+ people as well as cultivating Indigenous American medicine. However, due to my commitment to the licensed framework, I do not buy, sell, gift, or receive psychedelics.
If we work together, you may purchase psilocybin from a licensed service center, where I may supervise you to ensure your safety and comfort. The mushrooms are grown at licensed farms and tested in licensed laboratories for safety and potency.
I am licensed to supervise you as you use psilocybin (also known as "magic mushrooms") and undergo your experience. This is called administration, and it must take place in a licensed service center in Oregon.
To get the most out of one's experience, it is important to reflect on what came up during that experience. This is called integration. I am able to provide integration services after your experience.
My approach to integration is unique. If you work with me, I will help you to tell your story and imagine your future by interviewing you. You will receive a copy of your interview, so you can refer to it during your daily life.
You will probably find our work helpful and even therapeutic. However, my integration method is a futures studies approach to oral history, not psychotherapy.
Other ways we can work together include these examples:
You work with other facilitators to complete consultation, preparation, and administration, and then work with me on integration.
You had a psychedelic experience in an informal setting in the past, and you would like help making sense of it through my integration services.
Psychedelics are not for you, but you are interested in telling your story and imagining possible futures. If this is the case, we can work together on a personal basis.
I am flexible. Be open and honest about what you need, and come as yourself.
I am a lifelong learner who is:
Trained to serve LGBTQIA+ people and veterans,
Experienced in working with people of color,
Embracing of harm reduction, and
Faith-friendly.
Legal psilocybin is new, and many people have questions, such as about how it works and what costs are involved. There is detailed information on my Frequently Asked Questions page, linked here: (link).
