Passion for Christ Ministries respects your privacy. This policy covers our ministry mobile application and Passion for Christ TV on Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Android TV, Google TV, Samsung Smart TV, and LG Smart TV. 

Information You Voluntarily Provide

When you submit a prayer request through a service offering that feature, you may provide your name, email address, and prayer-request content. We use this information to receive and respond to your request and provide the ministry assistance you requested.

Submitting a prayer request is voluntary. The Passion for Christ TV app does not offer prayer-request submission or require a user account.

TV Streaming and Technical Information

To provide live television, our app and service providers process IP addresses, short-lived playback tokens, session identifiers, and streaming requests. These support playback authorization, viewer limits, security, abuse prevention, and aggregate viewing statistics.

This technical processing is required when you watch the live stream.

Our Streaming Providers

We use Playout.video and Cloudflare to support streaming and playback authorization. These providers process technical information on our behalf.

Playout reports that it does not itself store raw viewer IP addresses. Cloudflare processes streaming requests, including IP addresses, and retains streaming request logs for up to seven days.

Our Cloudflare-hosted token service also processes network and request information to issue playback credentials and prevent abuse. Its technical logs follow the configured Cloudflare retention settings.

Data Retention

Playout’s hashed viewer-session records expire approximately five minutes after viewing stops. Aggregate per-minute viewer counts are retained for seven days. Aggregate daily viewing-minute totals are retained with our service account’s usage history and are not linked to individual viewers.

Playback tokens are short-lived, held in the TV app’s memory, and renewed as needed.

Advertising and Security

We do not sell your personal information or use prayer requests or TV streaming information for advertising or profiling. The TV app does not collect advertising identifiers.

The TV app’s streaming and playback-token requests use encrypted HTTPS connections.

External Links

Our services may include links to external platforms, such as YouTube. Information you provide directly to those platforms is governed by their privacy policies.

You may choose whether to submit a prayer request. You may contact us with privacy questions or requests concerning information you have provided.
