This Privacy Policy describes how PassGen - Dev & Security Kit ("the App", "we", "us", or "our"), developed by Xion Digi, handles information when you use our mobile application.

Overview

PassGen - Dev & Security Kit is an offline-first utility application that provides tools including a Password Generator, Hash Converter, QR Code Generator, and Base64 Encoder/Decoder. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data is involved when you use the App, including data collected through advertising.

Information We Do Not Collect

The App's core tools do not collect, store, transmit, or share any of the following:

• Personal identification information (name, email address, phone number)

• Passwords or passphrases generated within the App

• Text, data, or content you input into the Hash Converter, QR Generator, or Base64 Encoder tools

• Contacts, location, or microphone data

• Any information that could identify you as an individual

How the App's Core Features Work

All core features of PassGen operate entirely on your device:

• Password Generator: Passwords are generated locally using your device's random number generator. They are never transmitted anywhere.

• Hash Converter: Text you input is processed locally to generate MD5, SHA-1, SHA-256, or SHA-512 hashes. This data never leaves your device.

• QR Generator: QR codes are created locally from the text or URL you provide. No data is sent to any server.

• Base64 Encoder/Decoder: Encoding and decoding happen entirely on your device.

• Vault Log: If you choose to save generated passwords to your local history ("Vault Log"), this information is stored only in your device's local storage and is never uploaded or synced to any external server.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

To keep the App free to use, PassGen displays advertisements through Google AdMob, a third-party advertising service provided by Google.

AdMob may collect and process certain information automatically to deliver and measure ads, including:

• Advertising identifiers (such as your Android Advertising ID)

• Device information (device model, operating system version, language, screen size)

• IP address and general location (derived from IP address)

• App interaction data related to ads (ad impressions, clicks, and views)

This information is collected and processed by Google in accordance with Google's own Privacy Policy, which you can review at: https://policies.google.com/privacy

We do not control how Google collects or uses this data beyond what is configured through AdMob's standard settings. We do not receive or store any personally identifiable information from AdMob ourselves.

Your Ad Choices

You can manage ad personalization for your device through:

• Your device's Settings > Google > Ads menu, where you can opt out of personalized advertising or reset your advertising ID

Permissions

Beyond what is required for AdMob to function (such as internet access), PassGen does not request access to your camera, contacts, location, microphone, or storage beyond what is strictly necessary for basic app functionality (such as saving a QR code image to your device if you choose to do so).

Data Sharing

Aside from the advertising data described above, which is collected directly by Google AdMob, we do not collect, sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share any user data with third parties.

Children's Privacy

PassGen is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the App uses Google AdMob, ads served within the App are subject to Google's policies regarding child-directed treatment. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so we can address it.

Data Security

Any information stored locally on your device (such as your Vault Log) remains on your device and is protected by your device's own security features. We do not maintain servers that store your generated passwords or input data.

Your Control

Since all data generated or processed by the App's core tools stays on your device, you have full control over it. You can clear your Vault Log, adjust your ad personalization settings, or uninstall the App at any time to remove locally stored data.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including to reflect changes in our advertising practices. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
