Pasquale is a Professor of Finance at Imperial and Research Fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), where he teaches International Finance, Empirical Methdods for Finance, and Empirical Asset Pricing. His research has been published in the Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Financial Studies, Management Science, Review of Economics and Statistics, and the Journal of Empirical Finance. He is a recipient of the Best Paper Award at the 2010 and 2011 Inquire UK Conferences, the Kepos Capital Award for Best Paper on Investments at the 2013 Western Finance Association Annual Meeting, the Best Paper Award at the 2022 Finance Symposium, and the BME Award for Best Paper on Fixed Income Markets at the 2025 Finance Forum of the Spanish Finance Association.
Before joining Imperial, Pasquale was an Assistant Professor of Finance at the University of Warwick and held visiting research positions at the Bank of England, CEMFI, City University of Hong Kong, Einaudi Institute for Economics and Finance, Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, Norges Bank, Hong Kong Institute for Monetary Research, and Washington University in St. Louis. He holds a Laurea in Economics & Banking from the University of Siena, a Master in Economics and Finance from the University of Brescia, and a PhD in Finance from the University of Warwick.
