Empower Yourself: Exploring API Cultures and Mental Health
Tuesday, October 10th, 3 - 4pm, Student Union Meeting Room 2A
Mental health can be difficult to talk about. Often there isn’t a true word for it, or the concept is almost taboo in most Asian and Pacific Islander (API) cultures. Growing up in such environments can affect our perceptions of our own mental health, or prevent us from accessing resources even though we know they exist. Let’s chat about our perceptions, figure out where to get API-specific resources, and settle down around some snacks!
