About me
Since August 2025, I am a mathematics teacher at the Kantonsschule Zürcher Unterland in Bülach, Zürich, Switzerland. Before, I worked as a scientific employee at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW), where I focused on machine learning for industrial applications. Before that, I had the great pleasure of working as a researcher in mathematics at some of the world's leading universities. I was a postdoctoral researcher at the Technical University of Munich and the University of Oxford, and I completed my PhD at the University of Bern. During this time, I had the privilege of working with some truly outstanding scientists.
Research interest
My main research interest lies in the numerical analysis of nonlinear partial differential equations. In particular, I am fascinated by the adaptive interplay between iterative linearisation schemes and finite element methods. The application focus is on equations arising in the modeling of non-Newtonian fluids.
I am also curious about the intersection of numerical analysis and deep learning, especially in the context of partial differential equations.
