Gillian Catherine Leng, CBE, is a British health administrator, academic, and the former Chief Executive of NICE, where she was responsible for several programmes and guidelines. In 2024 she became president of the Royal Society of Medicine.

In 2025, Prof Leng published her report and recommendations into the PA profession. 

Martin is Assistant Director, Education at the General Medical Council. In this role he oversees the GMC’s responsibilities to promote high standards of basic medical education and training so that patients, now and in the future, can be confident they will receive safe, high quality medical care.

James is a Lecturer in Clinical Education, Module lead in foundations in clinical medicine 1 and 2 (Physician Associate studies) at university of Plymouth. He is also a senior Physician Associate in Acute Medicine at Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust. 

Luke is an experienced physician associate in primary care in Suffolk, and a lecturer on the Anglia Ruskin University PA course. He has previously been a PA Ambassador for Suffolk, and has a passion for improving educational standards and placements.  

Ross Raymond-Jones is a PA, and Lecturer in Clinical Education (Physician Associate Studies) at Peninsula Medical School (Faculty of Health). Ross's PhD topic and area of research is around enquiry based learning  Medical Remediation  Small Group Learning  SIM  Communication Skill

Martin is a General Practitioner (Beccles Medical Centre). with an interest in early GP Careers and Education Clinical Lead. Coach and Mentor. Amongst many other roles and expereince spanning different parts of medical care, Martin is a newly qualified counsellor.

Tracy is a senior HR professional with expertise in people, culture, EDI, leadership and L&D at ARU. Tracy has experience of enterprise‑level transformation through practical, outcome‑focused people solutions. 

Chanceeth is a Senior Lecturer and Senior Physician Associate, having qualified from St George’s, University of London, in 2016. Working as a PA in primary care, developing specialist interests in hypertension, anticoagulation, and overseeing Physician Associate student placements.

Chandran graduated from St George's University of London (SGUL) PA programme in 2014. Previously he worked in NHS management. Since qualifying, he has worked clinically in urology at St George's University Hospital. In 2017, Chandran joined St George's University of London physician associate (PA) faculty and is now a Senior Lecturer and written chief examiner for the MPAS Physician associate course. 

Chloe is a Senior Lecturer on the Physician Associate at the university of Bournemouth. Chloe has research interests in women's health and multi-disciplinary simulation for PA education 

Sanjiv Ahluwalia is a General Practitioner and Head of the School of Medicine at ARU. He has a special interest in understanding the influence of clinical education on patient care. His educational work has consisted of managing postgraduate medical training programmes, workforce, and educational transformation with service providers, and developing interprofessional education. His research explores the relationship between clinical education and patient care/outcomes. 

Jade is an experienced physician associate in both primary and secondary care and is currently course director for the Physician Associate Msc programme at Anglia Ruskin School of Medicine. Jade has previously been Chief Examiner at the RCP for the PA National Exams. 

Physician Associate at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust with interests in simulation in PA education

Megan Galt is a physician associate who has worked in the trauma and orthopaedic department at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust for the past two years. She is currently working within the subspecialty of foot and ankle surgery and has become a member of the Diabetic Foot Multidisciplinary Team, involved in both surgical interventions and active monitoring of patients following surgery. 

James is a PA in primary care and senior lecturer at ARU on the PA course. James has previosuly run a PA podcast, and has a specialist interest in medical education. 

Esin Turkaslan is an Associate Professor and Lead for Physician Associate Studies and Cluster Lead for Physiotherapy at Buckinghamshire New University. Her work focuses on healthcare education, workforce readiness, placement development, and assessment standardisation within healthcare education. She has extensive experience in programme leadership, clinical education, and healthcare workforce development across primary and secondary care settings.
