🎭 How to Play Charades

🎯 Objective

Act out a word or phrase without speaking, and have your team guess it correctly before time runs out!

👥 Teams

Divide players into two teams (or play casually without teams).
One player is the actor, the rest are guessers.

🎬 How It Works

The actor draws or is given a word or phrase (movie, song, action, object, etc.).
The actor has a set time (usually 60 seconds) to act it out without talking or making sounds.
No pointing to objects, no spelling, no mouthing words!
The guessers shout out answers until they get it right or time runs out.

✅ Correct Guess

If the team guesses correctly within the time, they score a point.
Then it’s the other team’s turn (if playing competitively).

Play a set number of rounds or to a target score (e.g., first team to 10 points wins).

🎶 Hum It! - Game tutorial

🎤 Game Idea

In Hum It!, one player holds the phone to their forehead, and the others hum a song that appears on the screen.
The goal is to guess the song title (or also the artist, if you want an extra challenge).

📱 How to Play

One player holds the phone to their forehead – they can’t see the screen.
The phone displays a song title (and artist, optionally).
The other players hum the melody – no singing, no lyrics allowed!
The player must guess the song.

✅ Correct Guess

If the player guesses the song correctly:
- They tilt the phone upward (screen facing up) to mark it as correct.

⏭️ Skip

If they can’t guess:
- They tilt the phone downward (screen facing down) to skip to the next song.

⏱️ Time Limit

Each round is timed – usually 60 or 90 seconds.
Try to guess as many songs as possible before time runs out!

🏆 Winning

Keep track of how many songs were guessed correctly.
The player or team with the most points wins!

🎲 How to Play Taboo

🟣🟡 Teams

The game is played in two teams: Purple and Yellow.
Teams take turns guessing.

⏱️ Game Time

Each round lasts 90 seconds.
During a round, one player is the speaker, and their team tries to guess the word.

📦 How It Works

The speaker sees a word to describe.
Under that word, there are several Taboo words – these cannot be used!
The speaker describes the word without saying:
- The word itself,
- Any taboo words,
- Any parts or forms of those words,
- Or using sound effects or gestures.

✅ Correct Guess

If the team guesses correctly, press the green button to mark the card as "Read".

⏭️ Skipping Cards

If the word is too hard, the speaker can skip it.
The number of skips is limited (defined before the game).
To skip, press the skip button.

🚫 No More Skips?

If the speaker has no skips left, and the card is still too hard:
- Press the "Unread" button to mark the card as not read.
- This doesn't count as a point.

🔁 Turn Ends

When the 90 seconds are up:
- Count the number of correct guesses.
- Switch teams – now it’s the other team’s turn.

🏆 Winning the Game

After a set number of rounds or when all cards are used:
- The team with the most correct guesses wins!

🕵️‍♀️ How to Play Dark Stories

🎭 Roles

One player is the Game Master (the storyteller).
The rest are the Detectives (the guessers).

📖 The Story

The Game Master reads aloud the short version of the story to all players.
- This is a mysterious or puzzling situation.
Then, only the Game Master reads the full solution (the long version) in secret.

❓ Asking Questions

The detectives take turns or ask freely:
- They may ask yes/no questions to figure out what really happened.
- Example:
  - "Was it an accident?"
  - "Did someone die?"
  - "Was it night?"
The Game Master only answers with:
- Yes
- No
- Or sometimes Irrelevant / Doesn’t matter

🎯 Goal of the Game

The goal is for the detectives to reconstruct the full story.
Once the players get close, the Game Master may guide them to the full answer.
When they figure it out, the Game Master reads the full solution aloud.

🔁 Tips

Players can work together or compete to guess first.
The Game Master must stay neutral and not give hints, unless the group is stuck and agrees to get help.

⏱️ 5 Seconds – Game Description

5 Seconds is a fast-paced party game where players must name 3 things that fit a category in just 5 seconds!

🎲 How to Play

A card is drawn with a simple challenge, like:
"Name 3 fruits"
The player has 5 seconds to say 3 correct answers.
If successful, they score a point. If not, the next player gets a chance with a new card.
The game continues around the circle.

🏆 Winning

The player with the most points at the end wins!

⚠️ Twist

The time pressure makes it harder than it sounds—expect funny fails and lots of laughter!
