What is Partners in Prevention?
Partners in Prevention, or PiP, is a statewide training and networking event for substance use prevention professionals. Each year, the Coalition for Healthy and Safe Campus Communities (CHASCo) and the Tennessee Certification Board (TCB) offer this 2-day event with the support of the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services as well as our generous sponsors.
How do I register for PiP 2026?
Registration will open later in 2026.
How much is registration?
PiP registration is FREE for prevention professionals in Tennessee. If you are outside of Tennessee or not currently working in substance use prevention, please contact Stacey@TnCertification.org to register at the regular rate of $150.
What is included with my registration?
Registration includes all training and networking sessions, related materials, and lunch on both days of the event.
Will I get a certificate?
In order to receive a certificate, attendees must have submitted a registration form. Following the conclusion of the event, registered attendees will receive an online event/session evaluation to be completed. Registered attendees who complete the evaluation by May 29th will be emailed a certificate for the hours they attend.
Will I get credit hours toward my Certified Prevention Specialist (CPS)?
Yes! All sessions offered at PiP 2026 are approved for CPS hours. Be sure to complete the survey and obtain a certificate to upload with your CPS application or renewal.
