TESTIMONIALS:
I am a 16 year old and have a 4 month old son. I don’t live in the NCSD but I go to the PACE Program because they have a daycare for our young ones. I wrote this letter to thank you for the things you have helped me with last Christmas. I had no money for Christmas but you made it so that my family had at least one thing to unwrap for Christmas. I got a nice new sweater and some stocking items. I was so happy that someone remembered me at Christmas. So thank you for your help. I will always keep it in my heart.
A father of three students sent a heart warming thank you for the bunk bed, mattress and bedding we found to help support him so that his children no longer had to sleep on the floor.
Another fathers was overcome with tears when we purchased a vacuum cleaner that he asked for. He explained he was sweeping his carpet for the past two years because he could afford to purchase the vacuum.
A woman who lives in a domestic violence shelter is grateful because we are willing to tailor her food basket that meets their needs.
There are many more testimonials that I could share because the need is great and the impact is life altering for all who volunteer their time to make our projects succeed. I will leave you with one last testimonial that came from a generous donation of a former recipient of Winter Blitz. After donating he sent me a note that said: Thank you for helping my family when we needed it the most!
