A child looked at the sunlight flashing on the side of his house.
The light that gave him energy day and night
He stopped and wondered how will I accomplish my dream?
Will my father help me achieve my goal?
Every day he took a few minutes to wonder.
Every night he sat next to his window and planned how he would fix his car.
As a child, he felt a rush to become a young adult.
He wanted to rush through life and explore many things alone.
The emotion inside was a feeling of anxiety and happiness.
Once he became a teenager, he felt that sense of peace and relief.
He knew his dream would become real very soon.
More than ever, he began researching.
He enrolled in the auto shop class offered in his school, to know everything he possibly could to fix just about any problem.
His dream finally became true at the age of seventeen.
On a sunny Saturday afternoon his father handed him the keys to his dream car.
With joy and pride he received the keys and immediately went running to explore his 1968 Ford Galaxy.
He spent days and nights fixing everything in his car.
After six years this car taught him that no matter the obstacles thrown at you, you must learn to overcome them and educate yourself to accomplish your dream.
Without noticing it, this car gave him a valuable lesson.
The importance of time and the purpose of life taught him to have faith and believe.
The Ford Galaxy encouraged him to receive a higher education and to accomplish his career of becoming a professional mechanic.
From Aracele:
"Normally, you don’t sit down to think of what you are doing and why you are doing it. With this class, I was able to discover more about myself and more about people surrounding me, and how I started to get to where I am now, how places and people around me pushed me to where I am now."
