Hi,
My name is Partha Sarathi Ghosh. Currently I am a visiting fellow (postdoc) at the School of Mathematics, TIFR, Mumbai. Before that I was a CEFIPRA postdoc fellow at Ashoka University, Haryana, working with Dr. Kumarjit Saha on a project "Directed random networks and their scaling limits". I graduated in 2025 with a PhD from  Presidency University, Kolkata.
The broad area of my research is Geometric Group Theory. During my PhD, in one direction I worked on various approximation properties of a group (eg,: amenability, Haagerup property, weak amenability etc), in other direction I also worked on amenable actions of groups.

The other directions that I am interested in (but not limited to) are Probability and analysis on groups, random walks on groups and measures arising from random walk, C^*-algebras and von Neumann algebras arising from groups and its actions; also interrested in studying property T.
