Hi,
My name is Partha Sarathi Ghosh. Currently, I am a CEFIPRA postdoc fellow at Ashoka University, Haryana, working with Dr. Kumarjit Saha on a project "Directed random networks and their scaling limits".
I graduated in 2025 with a PhD from the Presidency University, Kolkata.
The broad area of my research is Geometric Group Theory. In particular I am interested in various approximation properties of a group (eg,: amenability, Haagerup property, weak amenability etc). I am also interrested in studying property T for groups. The other directions that I am interested in (but not limited to) are Probability and analysis on groups, random walks on groups.
