About Me
I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Mathematics at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Mohali, India. My Ph.D. supervisor is Prof. Varadharaj Ravi Srinivasan. I started my Ph.D. in August 2019. Before that, I completed my Master's degree in Mathematics from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi, India. I am supported by a fellowship from IISER Mohali to facilitate my research.
Research Interests
My research interests lie in the field of differential algebra, particularly with a focus on the Galois theory of linear differential equations. My work involves understanding non-linear differential equations through differential Galois theory and algebraic geometry. Another area of my work involves integration in finite terms by special functions. I use commutative algebra, algebraic geometry and the theory of algebraic groups as tools in my research.
