Many on-campus departments post part-time jobs on Jobs at IU. Select "Bloomington, Indiana" under location and "Part Time Employee" or "Part Time Student Employee" under Job Family in the side bar to show only on-campus student employment.

There are many jobs for IU students across campus, but we also partner with many off-campus student employers. Begin your search for off-campus work by checking out Handshake and the many ways to filter through positions. You'll have access to Handshake after you register for classes at New Student Orientation.

By talking with your academic department and professors, you will be networking and potentially learn about opportunities related to your major. Some departments announce job openings by word-of-mouth before posting the positions officially. This can be particularly fruitful for research positions.

Find internships, work study jobs, and many other excellent part-time employment opportunities at Indiana Memorial Union. Areas include marketing, catering, graphic design, event management, and hospitality, to name only a few.

If you have Federal Work-Study as part of your financial aid package, and you prefer to work off-campus, you will want to focus on Community Service not-for-profit organizations. Please contact the organization of interest to learn if their positions are work-study eligible. We have created a list of organizations that are eligible for work-study, but also a general list of great community organizations that have job opportunities for students regardless of work-study status.

Both on-campus and off-campus student jobs are available to KU students. Our goal is to assist University of Kansas students in obtaining employment while they are attending KU, so they can earn money for college, develop new job skills, build a resume and gain valuable professional experience.

The job location and development (JLD) program sponsored by the University Career Center (UCC) and the Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships locates and develops off-campus job opportunities (full or part-time, seasonal, or temporary) in Lawrence, Topeka and the Kansas City Metropolitan area. Many high-paying part-time positions require experience and specialized credentials. For example, part-time nurse practitioners need at least a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN). Part-time psychologists must complete a doctoral or professional degrees and a residency.
