About Us: From a Lanai to a Local LandmarkÂ
About Us: From a Lanai to a Local LandmarkÂ
Every great cup of coffee has a story, and ours began right at home. We started with a simple dream: to bring a premium coffee experience to our community long before it became a trend.
Before we were a local hideout, we were a family dream. Our journey began as Papa Ron’s Kitchen, a name derived from our founder, Aaron, a dedicated dad with a passion for good food and coffee. As we grew from a small home setup into a community destination, we evolved our identity to Parons Hideout. We wanted a name that captured our growth and "fit the trend" of being a secluded, cozy sanctuary where you can truly escape and unwind.
What started as a simple dream in 2022 has grown into a passion-driven café built right in the lanai of our home. We began with a small menu offering milk tea, burgers, takoyaki, fries, and coffee. At a time when coffee was not yet a trend in Naguilian, we proudly became one of the first cafés to introduce coffee in our town, sharing our love for handcrafted drinks with the community.
From the very beginning, our goal has always been more than serving food and drinks — we wanted to create a place where people could gather, connect, and experience the taste of the world.
Our first taste of the bazaar scene began with the 2022 Christmas Bazaar, where we shared our passion beyond our home. This was followed by the Bambanti Festival at Queen Isabela Park & Feb-ibig Bazaar at Century Park, City of Ilagan in early 2023, where we continued to connect with new faces and coffee enthusiasts.Â
After Bambanti Festival, we returned home and continued growing our café in our garden. We created an alfresco dining area with tents and tables, giving our customers a cozy outdoor dining experience.
During this time, we expanded our menu by adding comfort-food favorites like sisig, beef tapa, and pork tocino.Â
As our community grew, we knew we needed something more permanent. We built our kitchen and established a dedicated alfresco dine-in area, moving from a simple tent setup to a proper kitchen and counter to better serve you.Â
We didn't stop there—we continued our festival tradition by joining the 2023 Christmas Bazaar and returning to the Bambanti Festival in 2024. These events weren't just about selling; they were about becoming a staple in the local community and learning what our customers truly loved.Â
Growth takes time, and so does building a dream. We took a step back to focus on improving our café and investing in better facilities.
Starting as a fully alfresco cafĂ©, we continuously improved our space. In 2025, we added roofing to our dining area so our guests could enjoy their stay comfortably — rain or shine.Â
Our Mission: To serve as Naguilian’s pioneer coffee sanctuary, providing a diverse culinary experience that brings "a taste of the world" to our local community through quality ingredients, warm hospitality, and a cozy atmosphere.
Our Vision: To be the premier destination for food and coffee lovers in the region, known for our innovative global menu and for being a place where every guest feels like part of our family.
Our menu has grown far beyond those first few items. Today, we strive to bring the taste of the world to your table. By blending local favorites with diverse cuisines from all over the globe, we offer a culinary journey that spans from Japanese-inspired snacks to savory international classics.
While we’ve come a long way from those first few cups on the lanai, our mission remains the same: to provide a sanctuary where good food and great coffee meet. We are constantly evolving and investing in our space to make every visit feel like coming home.
Thank you for being part of our story. We can’t wait to be part of yours.
