Making a Difference Since 1989
Empowering Youth. Strengthening Families. Supporting Seniors. Building Stronger Communities.
Established in 1989, Parks Community Support Services, Inc. (PCSS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals and families through education, youth development, community outreach, and essential support services.
Our mission is to empower young people to reach their full potential, provide meaningful support to our senior citizens, strengthen families, and create opportunities that help individuals overcome barriers and achieve success.
Through innovative programs, hands-on learning, mentorship, community partnerships, and compassionate service, we are committed to meeting the needs of our community, inspiring positive change, and creating lasting opportunities for generations to come.
For over three decades, our commitment has remained the same: Serving Our Community, Empowering Our Youth, Enriching Lives, and Making a Difference!
SUMMER ENRICHMENT PROGRAM
Learning • Growing • Exploring
Our Summer Enrichment Program provides children with engaging educational and recreational experiences, including STEAM, robotics, coding, dance, sports, arts and crafts, and academic enrichment. Through hands-on activities, we encourage creativity, confidence, teamwork, and personal growth.
Educating • Empowering • Inspiring
PCSS is committed to helping young people reach their full potential through education, mentorship, and personal development.
Our programs include tutoring, ACT preparation, life skills education, drug prevention education, youth focus groups, mentoring, educational field trips, and college visits.
We also provide life skills education in schools throughout St. Martin, Evangeline, St. Landry, and Acadia Parishes.
Through these opportunities, we help young people build confidence, develop leadership skills, make positive decisions, and prepare for their futures.
Our Hearts Beat for a Cure
At Parks Community Support Services, Inc., we believe in bringing our community together to raise awareness, encourage early detection, and support those affected by breast cancer.
Our annual Breast Cancer Awareness Walk is an opportunity for families, friends, survivors, and supporters to come together for a meaningful cause.
Through education, community involvement, and fundraising, we celebrate survivors, honor loved ones, and encourage individuals to take an active role in their health.
Our walk also supports the important work of Miles Perret Cancer Services, helping make a difference in the lives of individuals and families affected by cancer.
Together We Walk. Together We Support. Together We Make a Difference!
