Watch the video below about positive self-talk. Positive self-talk is something you say to yourself to help you through a challenging thought, feeling, or situation. It should be something that helps you feel better about yourself and your strengths.
Positive self-talk helps us feel more confident, motivated and ready to accomplish tasks. The better you feel about yourself, the better you will be able to do.
Here are some statements to get you started: I am confident. I am calm. I am determined. Today is going to be an awesome day. I am proud of myself.
Come up with three positive self-talk statements that you can say to yourself to help you through a challenging time. Can you think of a time you might have had a negative approach to a situation, what could you have said to yourself to make it positive?
Don't Quit
It is hard to keep going sometimes... and you want to quit. But many times if you stick it out you accomplish good things and feel great. Listen to the poem about quitting and answer the reflections questions. Has there ever been a time when you felt like quitting? How did you make the decision to stick it out and was it worth it?

You are what you do when things get hard. Watch the videos from Under Armour and Tom Brady. What message are they trying to send to you? How can you apply this lesson in you life?
