Year 4

In Year 4, we promote positivity, persistence and independence. We are a very hardworking year group and we strive to ensure every child makes good progress and reaches their full potential, as well as having an enjoyable and memorable year. 

We have some very exciting learning opportunities throughout the year, including our topics, 'Burps, Bottoms and Bile', '1066’, 'Traders and Raiders' and many more. During the year, our Year 4 Children will have the opportunity to visit Stratford Upon Avon and even have the prospect of a 2-night residential. We look forward to sharing plans about these closer to the time.

In June, all Year 4 pupils take part in a statutory multiplication tables check so practising on TT Rockstars regularly will be essential throughout the duration of the year. In addition to this, our Year 4 children attend swimming lessons as part of the PE curriculum offer. We know that this is something that our Griffins thoroughly enjoy and are sure it will be the same for your children so get those swimming costumes ready!
