Senior Researcher · Hydrogen Energy Research Center, KRICT
Hyeonjung Park leads the Park Research Group at KRICT, having joined the Hydrogen Energy Research Center in March 2026. Her training combines polymer synthesis and electroactive materials, completed at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) in the group of Prof. Bumjoon J. Kim, where she developed imine-incorporated transient n-type terpolymers, regio-controlled polythiophene block copolymers, and flexible NO₂ chemiresistors.
From 2022 to 2026, she served as a Senior Researcher at the Korea Institute of Energy Research (KIER), where she led the development of molecular-structure-controlled AEMWE ionomers, reinforced composite PEMs, and large-area alkaline-electrolysis diaphragms — including a Korea–Germany joint project on 600 cm² alkaline-electrolyzer commercialization.
