Past - Present - Shaping Future My Life & My Work
I always wanted to work where I can learn new things, I get easily bored by senseless repetitive work. I never wanted to work for companies that make products or services that are bad for people like betting, cigarettes, ready-to-eat, fast food or Gutka Industries. I did a sales job where I felt the pressure of selling cars, if the sales were not up to mark the office atmosphere became very heavy then I worked for a supplement company where I had to sell supplements, I liked the work initially but after learning to earn money I need to oversell the supplements which may have side effects with people health. I saw salesmen were cheered for the more sales they did, irrespective of whether they knew even N of nutrition. I saw people dancing to a song which they call as their company's national anthem. New People who initially lost a good amount of weight or people who followed good lifestyles and had good results were showcased excessively. In contrast, 90 per cent of people who gained all the lost weight with crashed metabolism were never highlighted. I wouldn't say I liked the concept of earning on people's insecurities.
I started working as a nutritionist coz I lost my mom in her 50s coz of nutrition illiteracy she died of cardiac arrest & diabetes. I questioned myself If my mom who was a gold medalist MA Principal, I double master had no knowledge of food how would a common man have the knowledge which can add years in their life & improve the quality of life. I experienced how small effective food choices and help people lead a happy life. In my profession if someone is assisting a celebrity it is highly sought after, I don't mind helping any famous figure but what I want to invest my life is in serving masses. I want to help people who have low wages who are even Below the Poverty Line. A rich man can afford expensive treatment what about the poor who are in the majority?
I want power, 1 form of power is Money, I want people to be aware of food & their health. If a woman's menstrual and gut health is balanced it is directly going the improve their quality of life. Women have to carry a womb, their hormonal cycle is always fluctuating yet they are expected to always look sharp on point. I love my work I want work to be so mentally draining - exhausting but satisfying.
