Dissertation Title: “Fractional Programming Framework for Cluster Discovery in Healthcare Analytics”

- Develop fractional programming models to identify high-risk disease clusters in comorbidity graphs for EHR data.

- Design combinatorial algorithms, exact (logic-based), and heuristic optimization methods.

- Prove the NP-completeness of the core problem and several variations.
- Collaborate with clinicians to validate results.

- Processed and cleaned Electronic Health Record datasets.

- Processed Oracle Health clinical data for NLP tasks using BERT, sentiment analysis, and tokenization.

- Designed a web user-friendly interface for NLP tasks.

Thesis Title: “Surrogate Constraint Optimization”

Advisor: Dr. S. A. MirHassani

- Conducted in-depth research on aggregation methods, their properties, and applications in Facility Location Problems.

- Developed optimization methods like Benders decomposition and the p-norm approach, benchmark against CPLEX on TSPs.
