Parentpay (“the App”) is an offline school organizer for parents and guardians. It helps you manage events, homework, notices, activities, and local school and contact information on your device only.
This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles, how it is stored, and your choices. Parentpay is not a payment service and is not affiliated with any school, district, or third-party payment provider unless you explicitly configure that relationship yourself outside the App.

Selling data
We do not sell your personal information
All user-entered content is stored locally on your device (for example via Room database and DataStore), including:
School events, activities, homework, and notices you create or edit
School information (name, address, phone, email, description)
Parent/guardian contacts (names, student names, class, phone, email, notes)
App preferences (such as theme and notification preference flags)
The App does not upload this data to our servers as part of normal operation, because we do not operate backend servers for this App.
In the standard, offline use of Parentpay, we do not:
Require an account or collect passwords
Collect payment card or banking details
Use Firebase, analytics SDKs, or advertising SDKs in the core offline design described for this App
Access your contacts, photos, microphone, or location unless you add such features in a future version (the current offline build should not request unnecessary permissions)
If the App manifest includes only essential permissions, we do not use the INTERNET permission for core functionality.
Information you enter is used only on your device to:
Display and organize school-related records
Save your preferences
Support add, edit, delete, search, and filter features you use
We do not use your data for targeted advertising or profiling in the offline App described here.
We do not share your locally stored information with third parties through the App itself.
You may choose to share information manually (for example by copying text, exporting if such a feature exists, or using Android share sheets). Any sharing you initiate is under your control.
Data remains on your device until you:
Delete individual items inside the App, or
Use Settings → Delete local data (if available), which removes App data from the device, or
Uninstall the App (which removes App-local storage subject to Android backup/restore settings on your device)
We design the App to keep data on-device. No method of storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for:
Securing your device (screen lock, OS updates)
Not sharing your device with untrusted users if it contains sensitive contact details
Parentpay may contain information about students that you enter (for example student name and class in parent contact entries). That information is provided and controlled by you and stored locally.
The App is intended for parents/guardians and school organizers, not for unsupervised use by young children as a social network. If you believe we have inadvertently collected personal information in violation of applicable law, contact us at [Your support email].
Depending on your region (for example GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal information. Because data is stored on your device, you can exercise many of these rights directly by editing or deleting data in the App or uninstalling the App.
To contact us about privacy: [Your support email].
If you use the App outside your home country, your information still remains on your device unless you choose to share it by other means.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
Parentpay is a personal offline organizer. It does not guarantee official communication with any school. Always confirm important dates, fees, and announcements with your school through official channels.
