Description: The CMHRT is the psychology training clinic for graduate students completing a doctorate in clinical psychology at the University of Waterloo. The CMHRT offers effective, evidence-based psychological assessment and therapy services for individuals of all ages, including children, adolescents, and adults. Individual therapy, group therapy, parenting, and family therapy services are provided by clinical psychology doctoral students under the close supervision of registered clinical psychologists. We provide a limited number of psychoeducational assessments to consider questions of attention and learning. We are a fee-for-service organization but have a sliding scale and work collaboratively to accommodate financial need. We also provide community education workshops free of charge to the community on topics pertaining to mental health.

Description: At CJI, we offer restorative dialogue and conflict management services to community members through our Community Mediation Program. This includes support for neighbors, families, and others experiencing conflict. We also support youth and adults who are navigating the criminal legal system through our Restorative Responses to Harm or Crime Program. In this program, we walk alongside participants as they explore accountability, healing, and repair. Services include: Mediation, Conflict Coaching, Letter-Writing Support, Circle Processes, and Joint Conflict Coaching. Description: We envision a community where every person who is pregnant or parenting in crisis has the practical resources and emotional support needed to thrive.

Practical Resources: For those who have low household income, The Pregnancy Centre provides a monthly Care Package of diapers, wipes, and formula. Additionally, our Care Closet is stocked with gently used clothing up to size 3 as well as baby equipment and supplies. The Care Closet is free for registered clients.

Emotional Support: We all know that parenting is difficult. Parenting in times of stress or crisis is even harder. Mom to Mom provides you with a community of support on your parenting journey through mentoring, education, and supportive relationships. Our weekly groups provide a safe place for support and connection. Topics Covered: Parenting, financial literacy, self-care, and food and nutrition. Also, support sessions are available with an experienced and trained staff member. In addition, each participant is matched with a trained mentor for ongoing support, outings, and friendship. We believe that every parent should have the resources and support needed to thrive.
