Only a parent or legal guardian can connect and manage a child's device.

It applies screen time limits and routines chosen by their parent.
The child can always see which rules are currently active.
The app never reads messages, photos, or anything inside apps.
The app never accesses the camera, microphone, or location.
Children can request additional screen time with a single tap.

Purpose
Detects installed applications.
Displays app names correctly.
Allows parents to assign limits and routines to individual apps.
What it does NOT do
Does not access app data.
Does not read app content.

Parent Consent

Device Health & Permission Warnings
If an essential permission is disabled, the app clearly explains:
Which permission is missing.

How to enable it again.
That screen time limit may not work until the permission is restored.
Overall Disclosure
Parental App is built around openness and family transparency. Every permission is explained before it is requested, both parents and children are informed about how the app works, and the app never performs hidden monitoring or accesses sensitive personal data such as messages, photos, location, microphone, or camera.
2. Legal Basis for Data Processing
We process personal data based on the following lawful grounds:
Contractual Necessity:
Under Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR, when processing is required to fulfill a contract with the user.
Legitimate Interests:
Under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, when processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of Afex Digital or third parties, provided these interests are not overridden by user rights or interests.
We retain personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy.
Retention periods may differ based on the type of data and the nature of processing. Once the purpose is fulfilled, the data will be permanently deleted.

a) Third-Party Data Sharing
We may share limited, non-identifiable data with trusted third-party partners to deliver ads and improve app performance.
Users can manage these preferences in the app settings.
Anonymous behavioral data may be shared securely with advertising partners to enhance relevance.
All data is encrypted and aggregated to prevent personal identification.
Certain third-party SDKs may require additional permissions to ensure app functionality. These permissions are strictly limited to technical use and do not involve personal data collection.

9. Data Processing Operations
We use Firebase Hosting to host app content. IP addresses may be temporarily stored to detect abuse and ensure security.
Google AdSense provides personalized ads. IP addresses and related data are anonymized after nine months for fraud prevention.
c) Google Analytics for Firebase
Google Analytics for Firebase collects anonymous data about app usage.
Users may disable analytics in app settings. Data retention periods are 60 days for identifiers and up to 14 months for aggregate reports.
d) Firebase Remote Config
Firebase Remote Config stores configuration settings, such as regional preferences, for up to 180 days.
Crashlytics records crash data to identify technical issues. Information is stored anonymously for up to three years.

10. External Links and Affiliate Programs
Our barcode scanning apps may display links to external websites for product or pricing information.
When visiting these links, limited data such as barcode number, IP address, and browser information may be transmitted.
We may participate in affiliate programs. Some links may include a referral tag, allowing us to earn a commission at no extra cost to the user.
Users can disable automatic data retrieval in the app settings.
