About Tonya Harden

Tonya is a Commissioned Minister and Director with Volunteers of America South Central Louisiana. She also served as a public school teacher and school administrator for nearly 20 years. She is passionate about children and families.

This passion has led her into ministry around parenting. She recognizes the challenges in raising children with Christian values in today's world and created this collection of resources (also known as a toolkit) to guide and support parents along their journey of Christian parenting and raising godly children. Tonya also leads a Christian parent support group called "As For Me and My House." This group meets monthly and their mission is to build community while supporting one another in raising Christian children

Tonya is a married to Torancy Harden for 24 years and they have 2 sons- Jaden age 22 and Khalen age 17. They reside in Sorrento, LA.
