Septembre 16, 2023 was the birthday of Newton da Costa, celebrating 94 years of inconsistent existence !  On September 16, 2019 was organized a one day celebration for his 90th birtday  at the University of São Paulo and an international event on Creativity in his honor December 8-13, 2019 in Rio de Janeiro.  In February 2023 was also organized in his honor the International School SPLogiC   at the  State University of Campinas. In 2014 was launched the Newton da Costa Logic Prize  in Brazil leading to the creation of other logic prizes in the world such as the Alfred Tarski Logic Prize in Poland or the Aristotle Logic Prize in Greece, and to the Logic Prizes Contest.
