About Me
A little about me as a person.
A little about me as a person.
My name is Param Patel, and I am an Aerospace Engineering student majoring in Computer Science at Texas A&M University. Through my involvement in undergraduate research and design teams, I have developed extensive hands-on experience and technical expertise in research, design, manufacturing, testing, and documenting engineering processes. These experiences have also allowed me to cultivate strong teamwork and leadership skills.
Currently, I am engaged in research at the National Aerothermochemistry and Hypersonics Laboratory, where I am developing a PID controller to regulate the pressure differential between two sections of the Hypervelocity Expansion Tunnel (HXT). Additionally, I created a compressible aerodynamics calculator in Python and contributed to the development of a sensor for detecting the operational status of the vacuum pump in the HXT.
In a separate research project at the Immersive Mechanics Visualization Laboratory, I am integrating Finite Element Analysis (FEA) models into a virtual reality environment on the Meta Quest 2 using the Unity Engine for educational purposes.
I am eager to leverage my skills and experiences to contribute to innovative projects in the field of aerospace engineering and beyond. I encourage you to take a look through this online CV, which details my projects and experience. Feel free to get in contact with me if you have any questions or comments.
Sincerely,
Param Patel
