I'm seeking a self-motivated and passionate PhD candidate on the topic of SciML. Applicants should possess a Master’s degree in aerospace/mechanical and related engineering fields, computer science, applied mathematics, or a related field. Exceptionally motivated candidates with a bachelor’s degree and a strong research portfolio are also encouraged to apply.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of probabilistic methods in deep learning.
Knowledge of deep learning methods, physics-informed neural networks (PINNs), and neural operator networks.
Familiarity with different deep learning architectures (especially, Reinforcement Learning)
Proficiency in scientific computing (CFD for high-speed flows with chemistry, turbulent flows, and knowledge of FEM and Spectral Methods).
Skills in Fortran, C++, Python, and machine learning libraries (JAX (with Equinox), TensorFlow, and PyTorch).
Desired Qualifications:
Understanding of the HPC environment.
GPU and parallel programming (MPI, OpenMP, etc.).
Publication(s) in the reputed journals is a plus.
