I am happy to support postdoctoral fellowship applications to programs such as the American Heart Association (AHA) Postdoctoral Fellowship, NSF, NIH, and other relevant agencies.
No other positions available at the time.
I am particularly interested in mentoring graduate students who wish to pursue prestigious fellowships such as the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (NSF-GRFP), the DOE Computational Science Graduate Fellowship (DOE-CSGF), the DoD National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate (NDSEG) Fellowship, and the SMART Scholarship-for-Service Program. These fellowships not only provide full financial support but also open unique career pathways in academia, industry, and national laboratories, making them an excellent fit for the research conducted in my lab.
Seeking highly motivated Ph.D. students to conduct research in the areas of:
Computational Science (CFD - High Speed Flows/Turbulent Flows, Computational Solid Mechanics, Additive Manufacturing, Heat Transfer, and Acoustic, etc.)
Scientific machine learning (Neural Surrogates, PINNs, Neural Operators, Data-Driven Methods, LLM, Foundational Models, Reinforcement Learning)
The appointment includes full financial support (stipend, full tuition, healthcare, and other benefits). If you are interested, please send your CV and a brief statement of research interests to: Prof. Ameya D. Jagtap at ajagtap@wpi.edu.
I am happy to advise motivated MS/MEng students at WPI who are interested in pursuing their thesis or project work in my research areas. In general, there is no financial support for master’s students. If you are interested, please send your CV to: Prof. Ameya D. Jagtap at ajagtap@wpi.edu.
Our group is seeking self-motivated undergraduate students to conduct research in areas such as:
