EMathInstruction's mission is to provide high quality mathematics resources that are simple for teachers to implement and engaging for students to use. It includes a simple system of lesson plans with accompanying homework sets and videos. Our curricula is carefully scaffolded to develop and hone mathematical skills with deeper understanding of concepts. EMath Instruction tries to make math fun, accessible, understandable and give every student the confidence to succeed.
Each lesson in EmathInstruction includes a video lesson and an interactive assignment that the student completes as they work through the lessons.
You can get a link to access the Resource Folder for the Grade Level of interest by contacting your Conferencing Teacher. The folder contains each lesson’s work, and an answer key, as well as assessments. It also contains a printable workbook of all the lessons in each unit if that seems convenient for you. If you would like us to print a particular workbook as the year goes along, please ask your conferencing teacher.
Please do not share the Resource Folder Link with anyone outside your family, as I want to protect the author’s resources, which require a paid subscription.
Lessons: Each lesson is available as a PDF and a Word doc – probably easier to print the PDF. You will find answer keys for each lesson as well.
There are videos to accompany the lessons at the E-Math Site
We strongly encourage students to take the time to watch the lesson videos.
The videos coach students through the first two pages of each assignment. The last two pages are intended for independent practice.
Assessments:
Each unit has Exit Tickets for each lesson – like a mini quiz, and a Unit Review, as well as a Unit Assessment. Answer keys are included.
Pacing: If a student completed 3 lessons each week, they would finish most of the curriculum within the school year. If you move at a 4 day a week pace, you’ll build in time for any units that stretch you and require additional time for you to learn
