I'm Mike Veselov—a graduate from Chemeketa's Multimedia Arts program with a deep passion for Motion Media Arts, Filmmaking, and Animation. Over the past five years, I’ve poured my heart into projects that fuse technical skill with cinematic storytelling. The exhilarating debut of my fan film, World of Disney in 2019, followed by Disney Genisys in 2022, both testify to my unyielding ambition and boundless creative spirit. As the head of Parachute Films, I strive to push artistic boundaries and transform simple ideas into visually compelling experiences, embodying the values of being ambitious, passionate, and creative.
MY STORY:
The roots of our journey trace back to Veselov Productions—originally founded in 2005 by my parents, Andrey Viktorovich Veselov and Olga Nikolayevna Artimenya, as a small brand dedicated to home videos. After experiencing a lull in successful home video productions since 2012, I embarked on a challenging three-year journey using modest resources and outdated software to create my first fictional narrative film, World of Disney. This bold endeavor not only reinvigorated my creative drive but also set the stage for what would eventually evolve into the dynamic and forward-thinking Parachute Films. Our evolution reflects the grit and resilience that is central to our creative process, turning humble beginnings into a legacy of innovative filmmaking.
