► APSSA x PAPSAS International Conference 2021

APSSA and PAPSAS, Inc., will be hosting the 17th APSSA International Conference which will coincide with the 26th PAPSAS National Convention and 13th Interactive Youth Forum. The theme for this event is “Student Affairs and Services Forging Ahead: Virtual, Virtuous, and Victorious” and will be held virtually via Zoom on November 18-20, 2021 for SAS Practitioners and November 18, 25, and 26, 2021 for the Students.

This international conference aspires to bring together the SAS Practitioners in the Asia Pacific region in the spirit of sharing, learning, and collaborating. It also aims to highlight the sustained passion and commitment of the SAS Practitioners in the service of the students, the institutions, and the community.

Php 1,500 for APSSA and PAPSAS Members (participation to all sessions and 1-year membership to APSSA for APSSA non-members)
Php 2,000 for APSSA and PAPSAS Non-members (participation to all sessions and 1-year membership to APSSA and PAPSAS)
Php 1,000 for Student Leaders (participation to all sessions)

► PAPSAS Research Conference

PAPSAS Research Conference provides a platform in highlighting innovation and best practices of student affairs practitioners from different colleges and universities throughout the country to share their respective research works intending to educate and inspire more colleagues to engage in researching further development of knowledge on the field of Student Affairs and Services (SAS).

During its several runs, the conference has featured various research streams like Innovative Programs for Student Development and Wellness, Models and Strategies for Student Discipline and Formation, Impact and Development of Community Engagement, Inclusive Education and Student Affairs and Services, and the SAS Response to the Challenges of the New Normal.

In this regard, we are inviting all Student Affairs and Services practitioners to submit and present their accomplished research studies that are related to the following:

► PAPSAS National Convention

PAPSAS, Inc. will be holding the virtual 25th PAPSAS National Annual Convention and Seminar with the Theme: “PAPSAS at 25: Honoring the Past, Embracing the Present, Preparing for the Future” on November 20, 26, December 4 and 5, 2020, via Zoom platform, open for all Student Affairs and Services practitioners.

As the national organization of student affairs practitioners, we aim to prepare ourselves in meeting the expectations of a new generation of students. With the changing milieu of higher education considering the impacts of the new normal, the practitioners of Student Affairs and Services should be empowered to make themselves successful administrators, effective leaders, and dedicated counselors to the young.

In light of the new realities, this year’s digital convention and seminar will focus on achieving the following objectives. At the end of the sessions, the participants will be able to:

Recognize and appreciate the progress and milestones of PAPSAS, Inc. through the years
Gain a broader understanding of the landscape of SAS practice in the Philippines
Develop a wellness mindset for oneself and others
Gain insights from the sharing of models and strategies in implementing student services considering our new realities

► Interactive Youth Forum

PAPSAS, Inc., will hold the virtual 12th PAPSAS Interactive Youth Forum with the theme: “Student Leadership and the New Normal” on November 20, 21, and 28, 2020 via Zoom platform, inviting all Student Government officers, Student Leaders, and Student Volunteers.

As a general objective, the PAPSAS Interactive Youth Forum aims to provide an opportunity for the participants to individually and collectively share appreciate the value of student leadership in traversing the trails of the new normal.
