PDF Editor & Reader ("the App") is designed to work primarily on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal files, documents, or their contents to our servers. Any PDF files you open, edit, or save using the App remain on your device unless you choose to share them yourself.
The App uses third-party services, such as Firebase (by Google) and Google AdMob, which may collect certain data automatically as described below.
2. Information You Provide
The App does not require you to create an account, sign up, or log in. We do not ask you to enter personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number to use the App's core features (viewing, editing, annotating, merging, compressing, or signing PDF files).
3. Automatically Collected Data
While we do not collect your personal data ourselves, the third-party services integrated into the App may automatically collect limited technical information, including:
- Device information (device model, operating system version)
- App usage data (screens visited, features used, crash reports)
- Advertising identifiers (for ad personalization, where permitted)
- IP address and general location (country/region level)
This data is collected and processed by Firebase (Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Crashlytics) and Google AdMob, not by us directly.
4. Permissions
The App may request the following device permissions:
- Storage / Files access: to let you open, edit, and save PDF files stored on your device.
- Camera (if applicable): to allow scanning documents into PDF format.
These permissions are used solely to provide the App's functionality and are not used to collect or transmit your files to us.
5. How Data Is Used
- Data collected by Firebase is used to understand app performance, fix crashes, and improve the App's stability and features.
- Data collected by Google AdMob is used to show ads within the App, including personalized ads based on your interests, where permitted by your device and regional settings.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell or share your personal files or data with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Technical and usage data collected by Firebase and Google AdMob is shared with Google in accordance with their own privacy policies:

8. Data Storage and Retention
Your PDF files and edits are stored locally on your device. You may delete them at any time using your device's file manager or the App itself. We do not retain copies of your files on any server.
9. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through third-party services used in this App, please contact us so we can address it.
10. Security
We take reasonable measures to ensure the App functions securely on your device. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We recommend keeping your device and operating system up to date and using device-level security features (such as a passcode or biometric lock) to protect your files.
11. Account Creation and Deletion
The App does not use an account or login system. Since no account exists, there is no account data to delete. If you wish to remove all App data, you may uninstall the App or clear its storage/cache from your device settings.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Effective date." Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
