今、日本でも世界でも多くのアーティストが様々な表現活動をしています。そして現代ではNFTをはじめとしたデジタルアートにも価値が付く時代となりました。これはアーティストにとってもコレクターにとっても契機であると捉えています。例えば本美術館のようにバーチャル展示会を行うことでより多くの方に気軽に作品を見てもらえる機会を作り出すことができるようになりました。

Paper Planeでは定期的に国内外のアーティストにお声かけをし、展示会を行ってまいります。その際、アーティストは自らを語る必要もあります。どのように自分を見せたいかを考える必要もあります。経験が浅い方の場合は、失敗や反省が多くある展示会になってしまうかもしれません。しかしながら、場がなければ、場に訪れてくれる皆さんがいなければ、そういった経験も出来ないのです。

展示会を行うことから何かを得て、胸を張って気持ちよく「自らの表現である」と言えることが何よりも大切だと考えています。

そういった、表現の気持ちよさを青空に見立て、折り曲がるからこそ遠くへ飛べる紙飛行機を美術館のタイトルとしました。

この紙飛行機が世界中のみなさんの元へ届くことを願っています。

They need to think about how they want to present themselves. For inexperienced artists, the exhibition may end up with a lot of mistakes and reflections. However, without a venue, without everyone who visits the venue, such experiences would not be possible.

We believe that the most important thing is to be able to say with a sense of pride, "This is my own expression," whether it is a success or a failure.

We have chosen the title of the museum as a paper airplane that can fly far because it can be bent.

We hope that these paper airplanes will reach everyone around the world.
