Usage Data: Feature usage statistics, app performance data (via Firebase Analytics).
Image Data: Photos of receipts you take (processed only on your device, with the option to upload to the cloud).
Location Information: Collected only with your explicit permission to enhance transaction recording features.

4.3 Data Retention
Your transaction data and uploaded images are retained in our cloud storage as long as your account is active. Upon Account Deletion: When you request to delete your account via the app settings, your personal data, transaction records, and images will be permanently deleted from our production servers immediately (or within 30 days depending on backup cycles). This action is irreversible.
4.4 Limitation of Liability and Data Security
While we implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Server failures or data center incidents.
Unauthorized access or hacking attempts beyond our reasonable control.

AI Accuracy and Financial Disclaimer: The receipt recognition and categorization features are powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI). While we strive for accuracy, AI services may occasionally produce errors, incorrect numbers, or misclassifications. You acknowledge and agree that:
You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of all data entered or scanned into the App before using it for accounting, tax, or financial purposes.
Papero is not a financial advisor, tax professional, or accounting firm. The App is provided for information and organization purposes only and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional financial or tax advice.
We are not liable for any financial penalties, tax audits, or losses resulting from reliance on the data provided by the App.
We strongly recommend that you maintain your own backups of important receipts and financial records.
5. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We only share information in the following circumstances:
5.1 Service Providers We engage trusted third-party service providers to perform functions and provide services to us, such as cloud infrastructure hosting, artificial intelligence (AI) processing, data analysis, and technical support. These providers process data strictly in accordance with our instructions and security standards. We specifically ensure that AI service providers do not use your receipt data to train their models. To maintain our free service level, third-party advertisements may be displayed within the App.

Data sent to AI providers is not used to train their foundational models.
