1. The Service
PaperMeet is a creative iOS app that lets you:
Capture or select photos of handmade paper crafts
Create paper pieces, worlds, and areas
Arrange pieces on area covers to build handmade paper worlds
Process sticker-style cutout previews on your device
Optionally publish worlds to Explore for others to view, like, save, follow, and comment
Export area cover images or world cover images to your photo library, subject to available features, membership, or Paper Coins
Record an optional voice intro for a world. Voice intros are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to our servers.
Purchase Paper Coins and VIP / SVIP memberships through Apple In-App Purchase
PaperMeet does not provide direct messaging or private chat between users.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use PaperMeet.
If you are under the age of majority in your region, you may use the Service only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your account credentials secure.
3. Accounts
To use most features, you must register with an email address, username, and password. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
You agree to keep your login information secure and not share your account with others.
Notify us promptly at papermeetsupport@outlook.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
You may delete your account in Settings → Delete Account. Account deletion removes your server-side account data and related Explore content associated with your account, and clears related local data on the device used for deletion.
Some records may be retained as required by law, for example transaction records, or for a limited period for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and abuse prevention.
4. Your Content
“Your Content” includes photos, paper pieces, worlds, areas, area covers, avatars, bios, comments, locally stored voice intros, and any other material you create, upload, publish, or share through PaperMeet.
You retain ownership of Your Content.
By uploading, publishing, or sharing Your Content through PaperMeet, including Explore posts, profile information, avatars, comments, and shared worlds, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, and process that content as needed to operate, provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
You represent that you have all rights needed to submit Your Content and that Your Content does not infringe others’ rights, violate applicable law, or violate these Terms.
Unpublished worlds and piece images may remain on your device unless you choose to upload, publish, sync, or otherwise share them. Sticker-style cutout and background removal previews may be processed on-device using Apple frameworks.
Publishing to Explore may upload world information, area cover images, piece images, profile information, comments, and related content to our servers. Voice intros are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to our servers.
We may remove, restrict, or disable access to content that violates these Terms, applicable law, or the safety of the Service.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
Post illegal, harmful, harassing, hateful, abusive, sexually explicit involving minors, or otherwise objectionable content
Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
Infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights
Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Service
Scrape, harvest, or misuse other users’ data
Use the Service for spam, fraud, or commercial bulk messaging
Circumvent usage limits, payment systems, subscriptions, Paper Coins, or security features
Upload or publish content that you do not have the right to use
You may report or block content within the app. For additional reports, contact papermeetsupport@outlook.com.
We may investigate and take action we deem appropriate, including content removal, feature restrictions, account suspension, or account termination.

PaperMeet may offer:
Paper Coins, a consumable virtual currency used for exporting area cover images, exporting world cover images, unlocking additional world slots, and unlocking additional piece slots.

Purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. Payment, billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are subject to Apple’s terms and your Apple ID settings.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device’s Subscriptions settings or Apple ID account settings.
Unless required by applicable law or Apple policy:
Paper Coins are non-refundable once credited and have no cash value.

Paper Coins may be used only for the features shown in the app at the time of use.
Unused Paper Coins and coin-unlocked entitlements may be lost if you delete your account.
Subscription benefits apply only while your subscription is active.

Your use of the app is also subject to Apple’s applicable App Store terms.
7. Intellectual Property
PaperMeet, including its name, branding, design, software, interface, features, and non-user content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of our intellectual property to you.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or create derivative works based on any part of the Service except as permitted by law.
8. Third-Party Services
The Service may rely on Apple platforms and frameworks, such as StoreKit, Photos, Camera, Vision, and Push Notifications, and may use service providers that help us operate PaperMeet, such as hosting, database, analytics, or attribution tools when configured.
Your use of Apple services is also subject to Apple’s applicable terms and policies.
We are not responsible for third-party services, platforms, or systems that we do not control.
9. Disclaimers

10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PAPERMEET AND ITS OPERATOR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL, OR CREATIVE WORK ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF:
(A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM; OR
(B) USD $50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations. In those cases, the limitation applies to the fullest extent permitted by law.
11. Termination
You may stop using PaperMeet at any time and may delete your account as described above.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, create risk or possible legal exposure, misuse the Service, or if required by law.
We may also discontinue or modify the Service at any time.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date and post the updated Terms at:
https://sites.google.com/view/papermeettermsofuse
Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the location where the PaperMeet operator is located, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country or region of residence require otherwise.
If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts will remain in effect.
