This Privacy Policy explains how PaperMeet (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the PaperMeet iOS app and related services (the “Service”).

1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you sign up, we collect your email address, username, and password. Passwords are stored as secure hashes. You may optionally add a profile avatar and bio.
Content You Create or Publish
We may collect and store content you create, upload, publish, or share through PaperMeet, including:
Worlds
Areas
Paper pieces
Area cover images
World cover images
Profile avatars
Bios
Comments
Likes
Saves
Follows
Related metadata
Unpublished creative content may remain on your device unless you choose to upload, publish, sync, or otherwise share it.
If you publish to Explore, upload a profile avatar, or share content through the Service, related images and data may be sent to and stored on our servers.
Voice Intros
PaperMeet may let you record an optional voice intro for a world.
Voice intros are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to our servers. If you delete the app or remove local app data, locally stored voice intros may be lost.
Cutout Processing
Sticker-style cutout and background removal previews may be processed on your device using Apple frameworks. These previews are not uploaded solely for cutout processing.
Uploads may occur only when you choose to publish, update your profile avatar, sync content, or otherwise use a feature that requires server storage.
Purchase and Entitlement Information
We receive purchase verification information from Apple to confirm In-App Purchases, including Paper Coins and VIP / SVIP subscriptions.
We use this information to maintain your subscription status, coin balance, purchased entitlements, and purchase history.
Paper Coins may be used for:
Exporting area cover images
Exporting world cover images
Unlocking additional world slots
Unlocking additional piece slots
Device and Technical Information
We may collect technical information needed to operate and secure the Service, such as:
Authentication tokens
Device and app information
Error logs or diagnostic information
Network request information
Security and abuse-prevention data
Authentication tokens may be stored securely on your device, such as in Keychain.
Notifications
PaperMeet provides in-app notifications, such as welcome notifications, likes, saves, and comments related to your published worlds.
If push notifications are enabled in the app and you grant permission, we may use Apple Push Notification services to send alerts. In that case, a push notification token may be processed to deliver notifications.
You can control notification permissions in iOS Settings.
Permissions You Control
Depending on the features you use, PaperMeet may request access to:
Camera: to capture photos of paper crafts
Photo Library: to select images and save exported covers
Microphone: to record local voice intros
Notifications: to send alerts if enabled
Tracking: only if tracking or attribution features are configured and permission is requested
You can change permissions in iOS Settings.
PaperMeet does not require access to your contacts and does not provide private messaging or direct chat between users.
Tracking and Attribution
PaperMeet may use attribution or analytics tools only when configured in the app. If tracking permission is required, we will follow Apple’s App Tracking Transparency requirements.
If attribution tools are not configured or initialized, they do not receive data from PaperMeet.

We use information to:
Provide, operate, and improve PaperMeet
Create and manage user accounts
Authenticate users and secure the Service
Store and display worlds, areas, pieces, covers, comments, and profiles
Display Explore content and social interactions
Process likes, saves, follows, comments, and in-app notifications
Process and restore In-App Purchases, Paper Coins, and membership entitlements
Save and apply user limits, extra world slots, and extra piece slots
Export area cover images and world cover images when requested
Respond to support requests
Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security issues, and policy violations
Enforce our Terms of Use
Comply with legal obligations
Sticker-style cutout processing is performed on-device and is not uploaded solely for that processing.
Voice intros are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to our servers.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share information with:
Apple
Apple processes payments, subscriptions, refunds, App Store services, StoreKit purchases, and platform permissions. If push notifications are enabled, Apple Push Notification services may be used to deliver alerts.
Service Providers
We may use service providers that help us operate PaperMeet, such as hosting, database, storage, analytics, diagnostics, or security providers. These providers are allowed to process information only as needed to provide services to us.
Other Users
When you publish content to Explore or make profile information visible, other users may see information such as:
Username
Avatar
Bio
Published worlds
Published area or world covers
Comments
Likes, saves, follows, and related public activity where shown in the app
Attribution or Analytics Partners
If attribution or analytics tools are configured and permitted by your settings, limited device, app, or attribution data may be processed according to the applicable tool configuration and your permission status.
Legal and Safety Reasons
We may disclose information when required by law, legal process, or government request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, security, prevent fraud, or enforce our Terms.
4. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce our Terms.
In general:
Account information is retained while your account is active.
Published Explore content is retained while your account is active or until you delete it.
Local unpublished content remains on your device until you delete it, delete the app, or delete your account.
Voice intros are stored locally on your device and may be lost if local app data is removed.
Purchase records and transaction-related information may be retained as needed for accounting, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.
After account deletion, we delete or anonymize server-side personal data associated with your account, except where retention is required for legal, security, tax, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes.
5. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or request a copy of personal data.
You can:
Edit profile information in the app
Delete content you created, where supported
Delete your account in Settings → Delete Account
Control Camera, Photos, Microphone, Notifications, and Tracking permissions in iOS Settings

Account deletion removes your server-side account data and related Explore content associated with your account, and clears related local data on the device used for deletion. Some records may be retained where required or permitted by law.
6. Children’s Privacy
PaperMeet is not directed to children under 16.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe that a child under 16 has provided personal information to PaperMeet, contact us at papermeetsupport@outlook.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete the information.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information.
These measures may include hashed passwords, secure authentication tokens, encrypted transport where applicable, access controls, and other security practices.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. International Transfers
Your information may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country or region of residence.
Where required, we take steps to protect international transfers consistent with applicable law.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date and post the updated Privacy Policy at:

Continued use of PaperMeet after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
