Unit conversions: 28 categories and about 300 units, metric and US, including pressure, flow, basis weight (with US ream grades), consistency, nip load, force, specific energy, chemical dosing and vacuum (relative or absolute).
Paper machine: machine production, headbox jet speed, J/W ratio and wire speed, headbox flow, theoretical slice opening, reel calculator, water to evaporate, basis weight change from stock flow or production.
Tissue: crepe ratio with Yankee or Pope reference, basis weight at the Yankee and at the Pope.
Stock preparation: production, pipe flow, node flow balance, pulper water, tank dilution, tank volume, refiner specific energy (SRE), centrifugal pump power with the suggested motor size.
Laboratory: guided consistency, dry content, ash, Cobb and TSS tests with TAPPI / ISO references, first pass retention, breaking length.
Built-in calculator: write the whole expression with parentheses, log and functions, keep a history of the last calculations and paste the result into any field.
Most calculators work in both directions: enter the values you know and the missing one is calculated. Lock the values you want to keep fixed.
Every field remembers your units, and you can arrange the cards in the order you prefer.

This app is built for mill people, so the best ideas come from you. Is there a calculation you do every week on a spreadsheet or a calculator? A unit that is missing? A formula you would like to see, or something that does not work the way you expect?
Write to me at seavtools@gmail.com. Even one line helps. I read everything and answer when I can.
The app speaks five languages today, and I would like to make the technical wording right. I am not a native speaker of most of them, and paper-mill terms are easy to get wrong in a translation.
If you work in a paper mill and speak Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil or Portugal), French, German or another language, I would be grateful for a quick review of the terms, or for help adding your language. You do not need to be a translator: knowing how the words are used on the machine is exactly what is needed. Write to seavtools@gmail.com and I will send you a simple spreadsheet.
The app is free to use and I develop it in my spare time. If it saves you some time at work and you would like to support it, you can buy me a coffee on Ko-fi. It helps cover publishing and development costs and funds new features.
