I started playing drums at the age of 33 in 2017, although I have been fascinated by this instrument since I was a child. Due to my father's influence (he played drums), I grew by listening to drummers and other great artists like Billy Cobham, Frank Zappa, Weather Report, Stanley Clarke, Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, The Allman Brothers Band, Little Feat, King Crimson, etc. During adolesence, I discovered Led Zeppelin, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Toto, Deep Purple, Genesis, Jimi Hendrix, Carlos Santana, Cream, Who, Yes and other famous artists and rock bands. With regard to Italian music, I like artists like Area, Fabrizio De André, Pino Daniele, Elio e le Storie Tese, etc. Consequently, my favourite genres are rock and fusion/jazz-rock, but I like playing also jazz, blues, funk and pop rock.
During my period at Accademia Scarlatti, Centro Ottava and Studio Uno music schools, I have been member of groups, where I had the opportunity to improve my skills and, most importantly, learn how to play with others.
