What events will Sarah & Beth attend?
They will join us for the EP welcome dinner, the Friday EP lunch, the Spice Conference welcome dinner, the Spice Conference, and the live show after party.
What additional costs may I incur?
Travel to Minneapolis
Transit (Based on your Saturday activity selection)
Parking at the hotel (if you have a vehicle)
Saturday night dinner. All attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a Cincinnati Dine Around. Because the restaurants will have varying price points, this meal is not included in your ticket.
Are there other hotel options?
Not for the EP Retreat or Spice Conference, all tickets include a room at the Hyatt Centric. There are a limited number of event only tickets for local attendees.
What if my spouse/partner/friend and I are both EPs?
Two tickets can be purchased on one order. Please purchase two shared room tickets (each person needs their own ticket) and we will make sure you room with your friend or partner.
What if my spouse/partner/friend will join me for the weekend but does not want to participate in the retreat, just the live show?
Please purchase a single room ticket. Your guest can stay in the room with you for no additional charge, they will not have access to any retreat activities (including meals noted). Live show tickets will go on sale in March and you can purchase a show only ticket for them at that time.
What if I have special dietary needs or require mobility accommodation?
You can advise us of that request when you complete the Google form.
How can I coordinate travel and transport with other attendees?
Our private WhatsApp group will be a great way to ask questions about traveling to Minneapolis and coordinate with others.
What time should I arrive in Minneapolis?
Hotel check in is anytime after 4pm on Thursday (for EP's) and Friday (for Spice Conference attendees). Welcome dinners will begin at 6pm each night, with dinner served at 7pm.
What if I want to share a room with someone specific?
You can advise us of that request when you complete the Google form.
What about transportation?
Most activities will take place at the Hyatt Centric. There is one event for the EP Retreat that will involve public transit or ride share. Saturday Choose Your Adventure Activities may require additional transportation. Rideshare is readily available, as is the opportunity to carpool with other attendees. Some activities are also on the streetcar route.
What if I can’t attend after I purchase a ticket?
Due to the nature of the retreat and contractual obligations for events, we are unable to process refunds, however tickets may be transferred to another attendee at no charge. Contact us if you need to change your registration.
There are no more tickets available- how can I be added to the wait list?
A waitlist will be available once the events are sold out.
Who is coordinating the retreat?
Long time listener and supporter Christi Matthews is managing the retreat, in conjunction with the Pantsuit Politics team. You may receive correspondence from Community Retreat Co, which is Christi's event planning company.
How can I help/volunteer for the retreat or the live event?
At the moment, we do not have any additional volunteer needs but that may change. If you are interested in helping please email hello@christimatthews.com
