Biography

I grew up in Shanghai, China. After graduating from Wake Forest University with an MA in Mathematics, I moved to The George Washington University, and eventually earned a Ph.D. in Statistics.

My dissertation topic was On Properties of Several Random Networks under the supervision of Professor Hosam M. Mahmoud.

I joined the Department of Statistics at the University of Connecticut as a visiting assistant professor from Fall 2016 to Spring 2018.

I have moved to the Department of Biostatistics, Epidemiology and Informatics in the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania since August 2018.
